Strategic Initiative Grants

2023-2024 Strategic Initiative Grants

I am thrilled to announce that the application for the PAU Strategic Grant Funding is now open! This is an exciting chance for you and your colleagues to bring your innovative ideas to life and make a meaningful impact within our institution.

The Strategic Initiative Grant is an internal funding source specifically for Palo Alto University faculty and staff. It aims to pilot initiatives that drive research, innovation, and projects aligned with our Strategic Plan. It's important to note that the grant is designed to jump-start initiatives and not provide permanent funding. To support these initiatives, the Office of the Provost has allocated $100,000 per award cycle, with a maximum award of $10,000 for each proposed project.

While proposals from all areas are welcome, we are particularly eager to encourage initiatives that highlight and promote Inclusive Excellence/DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) and/or promote inter-department collaboration.
