Children and Adolescents Psychotherapy and Technology (CAPT)
The Children and Adolescent Psychotherapy (CAPT) Research Lab began at Palo Alto University in California. Founded and led by Dr. Eduardo Bunge in 2013, the CAPT Lab emphasizes an evidence based approach to childhood and adolescent disorders and the integration of new technologies.
The group seeks to enhance clinical practice by developing and evaluating evidence-based psychological interventions using Internet sites, eHealth, mHealth, apps and other technological applications.
Clinical Crises and Emergencies: Emergency and Disaster Psychology; the Psychology of Courage
Clinical Crises and Emergencies Research (CCER) Laboratory

The goals of the Multicultural Suicide Research Center are to advance the field of multicultural suicidology through projects investigating suicide assessment, prevention, and management.
Research on Intersectional Sexual and Gender Identity Experiences (RISE)
The RISE Research Lab is focused on the study of mental and physical health concerns of LGBTQ+ people over the lifespan, identifying factors and processes that that contribute to health disparities between LGBTQ+ and heterosexual/cisgender populations, and developing strategies to address these disparities and promote health and well-being among LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and communities.

Helpdesk Services
General Help
People consult the IT Help Desk in many ways: telephone, electronically, or by visiting our office at the main campus in the Facilities Office outside the library. We have the collective expertise to help you with your computing needs. We can also re-route issues to other service areas when necessary. Our goal is to be welcoming and quick in our initial response, thoughtful in the problem solving process, and reliable in our follow-up.
Student Veteran Organization
The purpose of SVO is to provide PAU's military veteran students with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and following graduation; to provide veteran and non-veteran students with information on veterans' issues, including behavioral health related research and military/veteran cultural concerns; and to link veteran and non-veteran students with the local veteran community through events and volunteering opportunities.
Palo Alto University is committed to providing seamless transitions for students who are recalled for military service and their return to the university after deployment. We will ensure students do not face an academic disadvantage as a result of being called to national or international service. When a student (or family member) receives recall orders to active duty or orders to deploy, the student can withdraw from the university with a 100% refund and without financial penalty.
