Created to address the myriad of federal, state, and accreditation regulations that govern higher ed, the compliance committee provides advice, guidance, and support in meeting the University’s regulatory requirements. Committee members representing a wide range of departments work to strengthen Palo Alto University’s compliance with federal and state governing bodies as well as to identify emerging issues in the regulatory environment.

Palo Alto University (PAU) instituted Payment Policies starting academic year 2018-2019. The student assumes responsibility for payment of the charges for educational services, which may include tuition, student health insurance, and other Palo Alto University charges for any and all periods of enrollment at the University.

Directory Information Policy
The Family Educational Rights and privacy Act (FERPA) declares that an institution may release certain information from a student’s educational record without the written consent and defines Directory Information as the following: “Information contained in an education record of a student which would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if disclosed.” (1988 Final Regulations)
