Meet Professor Rose Wong

Professor Rose Wong, PhD, is a multilingual and multi-faceted academic. Drawing on her knowledge and experience in international development, psychology, and social welfare, Dr. Wong has worked as an international development consultant in Brazil and Portugal and as a social worker developing services that address the behavioral health needs of immigrants and underserved populations.

Palo Alto University announces the election of Mary Yang to its Board of Trustees. Yang is a strategy and corporate business development executive focused on growth acceleration and business model innovation for publicly traded global companies and emerging growth organizations.  

In 2018, when disruptions arose in her personal life, Maggie Tsai enrolled in an eight-week mindfulness course. “I wanted to tackle the challenge with more professional resources. Mindfulness can really help a person’s mental state, and it helps me see my situation better.” The mindfulness training sparked her interest in mental health counseling. Not long after that, she enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Palo Alto University (PAU).
