A Night at the Ballpark with the PAU Community

On Friday, June 6, the PAU community came together for a lively night of baseball, connection, and summer spirit as the San Francisco Giants took on the Atlanta Braves at Oracle Park. Hosted by the Department of Alumni Relations, the event brought together an impressive 83 attendees, including alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends, and families.

With the sparkling Bay as a backdrop for an extra-innings win by the Giants, the evening offered a relaxed and joyful setting for meaningful connections. From catching up with former classmates to meeting new members of the PAU community, the event was a perfect example of how the PAU Alumni Association fosters lifelong relationships and community spirit.

“I had the chance to have some great conversations with alumni, some of whom hadn’t connected with the university in a while,” said one attendee. “There was just a great energy—people were laughing, sharing stories, and genuinely enjoying themselves.”

PAU at the Ballpark 2025These kinds of events reflect the heart of what the PAU Alumni Association stands for: creating opportunities for alumni to stay engaged with their alma mater and with each other. Whether it’s social events, professional development, or lifelong learning opportunities, the Association is here to support its alumni at every stage of life.

“Events like these are a fun reminder of what people in the PAU community mean to each other. We all learn, work, and count on each other, but we can also have a lot of fun together too!” shared Chloe Corcoran, Director of Alumni Relations.

Whether it’s cheering from the bleachers or reminiscing over shared memories, events like this remind us that PAU is more than a place, it’s a lifelong community.
