Congratulations to Dr. Daniele Levy

Congratulations to Dr. Daniele Levy, PAU’s professor in the Business Psychology program since 2012 and our alumni in Clinical Psychology, for her excellent work resulting in her recent publications on the effects of workaholism on professional women.

Effects of workaholism on satisfaction among US managerial and professional women”; published this month in Gender in Management: An International Journal

Workaholism and Marital Satisfaction among Female Professionals”: appeared in the August edition of The Family Journal.

Dr. Levy’s background uniquely combines leading edge training in behavioral sciences with deep expertise coaching

and mentoring working professionals in dynamic organizations. She held executive positions before her studies in PAU’s Ph.D. program to pursue her interest in improving mental health in our community.

Dr. Levy has combined her business skills with a passion for maximizing human potential. In the business arena, she held leadership positions at both early stage and public companies focused on the consumer market. In the technology sector, Dr. Levy was a member of the founding team at two venture-backed start-ups and led marketing organizations for large global businesses operating in ecommerce, online communications, and virtual communities.

She currently practices as a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor at the San Mateo Medical Center, a general medical hospital serving low-income populations. Dr. Levy also serves as an advisor to technology companies in the healthcare industry and is actively involved with programs related to women's issues in the workplace through the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
