PAU Ph.D. student Joanna Servin receives scholarship from La Unidad Latina Foundation

Congratulations to Joanna Servin, PAU’s third-year Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology. Joanna just received a National Scholarship from La Unidad Latina Foundation (LULF) for her commitment to empower underserved and understudied populations by contributing to the Latino Mental Health field as a clinician and researcher. This scholarship will help fund her studies and specialization within the Child and Family Emphasis program. In her application to LULF, she stated “with appreciation for LULF’s support and encouragement, I am better able to tread toward my goals with the tenacity and work ethnic I have inherited from my community and for my community.”

La Unidad Latina Foundation (LULF) praised Joanna Servin for “exemplifying the values on which LULF was founded and how she demonstrated academic excellence and inspired civic action in the Latino community.”
