Monday, April 17, 2017
Margareth Del Cid, a student of Palo Alto University’s doctoral programs, has received the APA Minority Fellowship Program Award to help her pursue her educational and career goals of helping Latino immigrant youths and delinquency.
The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (MHSAS) Predoctoral Fellowship is funded by a grant from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to support the training of practitioners in prevention and behavioral health services. The fellowship is very competitive with a selection rate of approximately 7% of applicants and is unique in the support and training it provides to students both during and after their formal training.
