Biography:
Ms. Sharadon Smith has over twenty years of experience in the field of learningand development, as well as career management. She has held many positions as an assessor, designer and instructor of performance improvement as well as a manager of a training department. Much of her corporate work has centered on organizational effectiveness and individual talent development. In addition, she consults in the areas of change management and effective teams. In her career development work, Sharadon helps clients identify career goals, strategies for obtaining desired employment and skills in workplace effectiveness.
Currently, Sharadon is a career advisor/re-training specialist at NOVA and an independent learning and development consultant. As part of her portfolio career, Sharadon also co-owns with her husband The Antenna Factory. Previously, Sharadon worked for Litton Guidance and Control Systems in the area of Total Quality Management and in employee training. She also worked as the director of National Semiconductor University and as the Asia Training Manager while at National Semiconductor. Sharadon has lived in Singapore and Guatemala. Living outside the U.S. has given Sharadon an appreciation for understanding and respecting culture in the workplace. Last, Sharadon has a passion for helping youth establish study habits and wide ranging interests so they can confidently move into satisfying careers.
