Superstar Psychologists in Technology: Sam Jaffee, Ph.D. (via Zoom)

Sam Jaffee received his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Bowling Green State University, where he studied motion perception as well as spatial problem-solving in digital environments. After receiving his Ph.D., he worked as a User Experience Researcher for two years at Capital One, where his work focused on supporting various credit-related products. After taking a 1-year visiting assistant professorship at Alma College, Sam began working as a User Experience Researcher at Google, where his work now focuses on improving mobile keyboards.

Though he works in the industry, Sam has a great passion for teaching, and he hopes that he can utilize his experiences from the applied world to improve the academic experiences of students inside and outside of psychology and the social sciences.

This event will be moderated by Palo Alto University's President, Maureen O'Connor, Ph.D., J.D.
