
Post Pandemic Parenting – The Uncharted Road to Normalcy
The pandemic has dramatically increased the incidence of anxiety, depression, social and educational challenges among parents and children. While the vaccine offers hope to families for a return to normalcy, it is unknown how destabilizing this reentry may be.
This expert panel of psychologists will take an inside look at how the pandemic continues to impact the mental health of families, the barriers that exist in accessing care and what it will take to move to a new phase of normalcy.
The program is part of Palo Alto University's "At the Forefront of Mental Health" series and takes place April 15, 2021, from 11:30am-12:45pm

The Panelists:
- Margaret Lamar, PhD, LPC , is an assistant professor and researcher at Palo Alto University specializing in maternal mental health.
- Ramsey Khasho, PsyD, Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the Children’s Health Center an education and mental health service for children, teens and young adults in Palo Alto, CA.
- Donya Wallace, Ph.D., NCC, LPC, is a private practice clinician and assistant visiting professor, Palo Alto University with a focus on socio-historical trauma of African American women in healthcare.
- Jamie Klein PhD is a clinical psychologist and assistant profession at Palo Alto University with a focus on women’s mental health.
