Evidence-Based Psychotherapy with LGBTQ+ Populations with Dr. Kimberly Balsam, Ph.D.

About the Webinar

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and other sexual and gender minority (LGBTQ+) people have unique risk and resilience factors that influence their mental health and response to psychotherapy. Dr. Kimberly Balsam will provide a framework that clinical psychologists can use to provide affirmative, evidence-based psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ clients. She will also include clinical examples and suggestions for addressing the clinician’s own biases.
