Alumni Spotlight: Monica Done

MS in Psychology, Class of 2019 - Researcher at UCLA

“When I started the program I was working as a social science research professional at Stanford University. I pursued my masters at Palo Alto University (PAU) because it allowed me the flexibility of an online program with the education of exceptional professors who really encouraged me and challenged me to think critically about the field of psychology and mental health.

I have greatly enjoyed the program and feel that I have significantly benefited from my education at PAU. My education has motivated me to continue to pursue my professional goals in the mental health field.

With my master’s degree I now work at UCLA as a clinical research coordinator managing research engagements and I am responsible for the organization and coordination, of research participants and graduate students as well as providing research data management.

I have also extended my role in working as a co-therapist and Spanish translator providing family focused therapy for families as well as conducting parents CBT skills groups. I am very pleased I completed the program at PAU and encourage others to get involved and pursue your educational goals.”
