“When I started the program I was working as a social science research professional at Stanford University. I pursued my masters at Palo Alto University (PAU) because it allowed me the flexibility of an online program with the education of exceptional professors who really encouraged me and challenged me to think critically about the field of psychology and mental health.

After I graduated from the MS program, I transitioned to a User Experience (UX) Research Assistant role, contracting for Google. During that time, I supported Senior UX Researchers in their day-to-day activities, which included: recruiting study participants, assisting in writing study plans/ protocols, taking notes during study sessions, assisting with analysis and reporting.
MS 2020: Paper Published and Scholarship
The MS in Psychology program at PAU provided abundant opportunities for me to grow and learn- and have a few laughs. The remote availability of this program was pivotal in my decision to enroll, as I am located in New Zealand. Two years later I graduated receiving Palo Alto University’s 2020 academic award for Outstanding Student.
10 Latinx Merit Scholarships to Support Spanish-speaking Students
Palo Alto University (PAU), Northern California’s leading school of psychology and counseling, is pleased to announce a generous gift that enables the creation of ten scholarships of $10,000 each for Spanish speaking, Latinx undergraduate students in the University’s BS in Psychology and Social Action program. PAU is also contributing to these scholarships with institutional funding.
