Remembering and Honoring Kathryn Pryor, Alumna and PAU Board Member

Kathryn Pryor

On September 14, 2023, Palo Alto University lost one of our greatest beacons and supporters – Kathryn Pryor. Kathryn was a distinguished alumni and a devoted Palo Alto University Board of Trustees member.

Kathryn earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, now PAU, in 1993.

Dr. Pryor served on the PAU Board of Trustees from 2005 to 2023. During her tenure on the Board, she served with distinction on the Academic and Student Affairs committee and demonstrated exceptional dedication and unwavering commitment to PAU’s mission and values, contributing her expertise, compassion, and insight into critical matters related to the student experience at PAU.

Kathryn’s passion for educating mental health professionals, her intellectual curiosity, and her tireless efforts to support PAU will continue to have a lasting and profound impact on the PAU Community.

Kathryn was also a generous supporter of PAU, “Palo Alto University has been an important institution to me for many years. As an Alumna and a Trustee, PAU has enhanced my life and career. I care about PAU and want to demonstrate my gratitude. I hope that my gifts will help secure PAU’s future.”

PAU is working to establish a scholarship in Kathryn Pryor’s honor with contributions generously given in her memory by her friends and family. If you would like to contribute to this scholarship fund, please donate here, and in the comments section note that your gift is designated for the Kathryn Pryor Scholarship Fund or reach out to Anne Farrah, Director of Development, at afarrah@paloaltou.edu
