PAU CommuteSmart Program

PAU CommuteSmart Program

The PAU CommuteSmart Program is where you can help save the planet, meet new friends and earn rewards for just using alternative transportation other than your car. Accepted modes of transportation include walking, biking, ridesharing, or taking public transportation such as a train or bus. The program runs from September 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019.

Here are five reasons why you should join:
  • Fight carbon pollution
  • Meet new friends when you rideshare or take public transportation
  • Burn calories not fuel
  • Save money by using less gas
  • Earn rewards for taking alternative transportation - $5 per day, up to $100 per month
Here’s how it works:
  • Step One: Fill out an online application and agreement via Qualtrics.
  • Step Two: Once an application is filled out, the PAU CommuteSmart Program coordinator will contact you to set-up a training session.
  • Step Three: Participate in a training session to learn more about the program, recording and submitting your monthly diary.
  • Step Four: Log your daily commutes in your monthly diary. Please remember to save those receipts!
  • Step Five: Submit your monthly diary via Qualtrics for approval.
  • Step Six: Once approved, a check will be sent or available for pick-up.
