Associate Program Director of Business Psychology at Palo Alto University

Palo Alto University seeks an Associate Program Director to manage its Bachelor degree program in Business Psychology, which includes both a residential program located on the campus of Foothill College and an Evening/Online program.  Palo Alto University (PAU) offers Doctorate, Masters and Bachelor degrees in psychology and related disciplines.  PAU’s Bachelor’s programs are innovative programs offered to community college transfer students. Community college students, who have completed two years of general education requirements, transfer to PAU and complete their junior and senior years at PAU and the requirements for their Bachelor degree.  Visit the PAU web site to learn more.

Responsibilities

1. The Associate Program Director will manage the PAU Bachelor degree program in Business Psychology;

2. Hire and supervise professors;

3. Insure achievement of the BP program learning objectives and competencies;

4. Advise students in the BP program and supervise other advisors;

5. Assist with recruitment of new students;

6. Assist with administering assessments and gathering data to support BP program effectiveness for accreditation purposes and for program improvements;

7. Develop and supervise an internship program;

8. Assist with curriculum development; and

9. Represent the BP program on university committees.

 

Qualifications

1. Master’s in Business Administration, MA or Ph.D. in Organizational Development or Industrial/Organizational Psychology;

2. University teaching experience; and

3. Experience managing an academic program or department.

 

This is a full-time, 12 month appointment that is available immediately and reports to the Director of Undergraduate Studies. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
