Throughout Lila’s graduate career she has focused her clinical training on child and pediatric psychology. Her work includes training in a government run community mental health center for children and families and a pediatric neuropsychology department within a County Hospital System. She also sought out health focused practica when pediatric psychology sites were not available (e.g. primary care at a the VA). She spent over four years working as a research assistant and then coordinator on several studies with adult survivors of neurological maladies at Kessler Foundation Research Center, University of Michigan, and the Palo Alto VA. This previous year she completed an APA Accredited pre-doctoral internship in child clinical and pediatric psychology at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This internship included placements in health focused rotations such as adolescent medicine, the Youth Transgender Medical Clinic, and pediatric primary care.  She will start her two year post-doctoral placement in the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Department at Maria Fareri Children’s hospital in Valhalla, New York.

PAU is very proud of her and the research she is doing and we look forward to her valuable career toward improving children’s lives.
