Community's Overwhelming Contribution to Student-Led Coat Drive

Monday, April 17, 2017
Since January students, faculty and staff of Palo Alto University have donated over 150 coats in the One Warm Coat drive.

Lauren Simas, member of MA Counseling Honor Society, Chi Sigma Iota, coordinated the drive with One Warm Coat, a San Francisco non-profit organization. One Warm Coat’s mission is to provide anyone in need with a warm coat, free of charge. Each coat drive benefits a different, hyper-local organization. Lauren selected the Ecumenical Hunger Project in East Palo Alto to be the beneficiary of PAU’s donated coats.

While the coat drive at PAU has ended, if you would like to donate a gently used jacket, please visit onewarmcoat.org/donatecoats
