Mr. William Brigham was the Administrator of the National Football League Program for Substances of Abuse from 1995 to 2016.  He continues to provide consulting services to the NFL Program.  He also has provided services to the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, Player Engagement Department, and Rookie Success Program. 

Mr. Brigham has over 40 years of experience in addiction prevention, education, and treatment.  He has worked in various modalities of substance abuse treatment including methadone maintenance, residential treatment, and outpatient counseling settings. 

Since 1978, Mr. Brigham has taught university-level courses in addictions, sociology, and film studies, and has developed and administered a university-based addictions counselor training program.

Mr. Brigham holds graduate degrees in Social Work and in Sociology.  He was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the Drug Abuse Advisory Boards of Fresno and San Diego Counties in California, and served on the Board of the Coalition for Quality Health Care in San Diego.

Instructor:  Small group discussions with NFL rookie players (all 32 NFL clubs) on the effects of marijuana on athletic performance, dangers and consequences of drinking and driving, non-medical use of prescription medication, and other related topics.
