His style is empathetic and compassionate and uses a Humanistic approach informed by Attachment Theory and through the lens of trauma informed care. In addition to this, Todd is on track to be certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples in 2019 and has completed trainings in Motivational Interviewing, Drama Therapy, Attachment focused EMDR, Trauma training with Bessel Van der Kaulk, Family Constellations, Internal Family Systems, TEAM CBT therapy, DBT, and mindfulness based interventions. Todd is a member of CAMFT, ICEEFT (EFT therapy), and the Chi Sigma Iota professional counseling honor society.

In his free time Todd has been on multiple long-term silent meditation retreats, enjoys scuba diving, mountain climbing, making music and spending time with loved ones.
