Maria E. Mattioli, M.S., MFT is a longtime professor of graduate and undergraduate psychology courses. Maria is a humanistic psychotherapist with training in Gestalt therapy. In her private psychotherapy practice in Santa Cruz, CA she specializes in experiential couple and individual therapy, and Latino clients. She is interested in self-exploration, personal growth, authenticity, self-acceptance, creativity, and change. She leads workshops in process painting, a tool for self-development and a method designed to stimulate and unblock innate creativity.
