PAU’s Superstars Psychologists in Technology series returns Thursday, November 4th, featuring alumna Charlotte Beard, PhD. Dr. Beard is a clinical psychologist who innovates at the intersection of psychology and technology. She has over 20 international publications focusing on digital mental health, including risks and resilience factors related to internet gaming.
Dr. Beard is the Community Leader of Science and Ethics for Therapists in Tech, an organization of over 750 mental health professionals dedicated to revolutionizing the digital mental health space. Dr. Beard is also the founder of OpenWorld, an organization that provides services to promote digital wellness, balance, and healthy gaming with cutting-edge, evidence-based treatment. She is also a clinical psychologist with Kaiser Permanente.
Charlotte Beard is a two-time graduate of PAU, from both the MS in Psychology and PhD in Clinical Psychology programs. She is an adjunct faculty member in PAU's master's program. Join us on Thursday, November 4 from 6-7 pm (PST) for this interactive discussion.
