PAU Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month: A Brief History of Latinx Initiatives at PAU

The Latinx Task Force, PULSO, and Clínica Latina invite you to participate in a virtual talk to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and learn about the history of Latinx Initiatives at Palo Alto University. We will discuss a brief history of PULSO (Palo Alto University Latino Student Organization), Clínica Latina, and the Latinx Task Force.

PAU speakers include:

•Dr. Maureen O’Connor – President

•Dr. Ricardo Muñoz – Distinguished Professor

•Dr. Jim Breckenridge -- Chief of Staff and Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Analysis, & Planning

•Dr. Alinne Barrera – Associate Professor, first Chair of the Latinx Task Force, former Faculty Sponsor for PULSO

•Dr. Elisabet Revilla – Director of Clínica Latina, Current Faculty Sponsor for PULSO

•Alexandra Padilla – Doctoral Student, Current PULSO President, recent Clínica Latina Trainee

•Sam Hayward – Doctoral Student, Current PULSO Vice President, recent Clínica Latina Trainee

•Dr. Martha Hernandez – Clinical Supervisor at Clínica Latina, former co-Chair of the Latinx Task Force

•Dr. Karen Roller – Assistant Professor, former co-Chair of the Latinx Task Force
