This webinar, will explore the roles that psychologists from around the world can play in promoting human rights. Speakers will discuss how they use psychology to combat racism in the Americas, discrimination against LGBT+ persons in Asia, and socioeconomic inequality in the United States. Participants will learn how they can use their psychological expertise to promote human rights and equity in their countries, expanding the applications of psychological science and practice across the globe. The first half of the event will be devoted to presentations, and the second to facilitated discussions in breakout rooms. Participants will be provided a certificate of attendance.
