Director of Institutional Equity and Inclusion

The Director of Institutional Equity and Inclusion works collaboratively across the institution to fulfill the mission and goals of PAU’s strategic vision towards diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). This work is focused on the development and sustenance of social justice-driven institutional systems that foster equity-minded training, inclusive practices, and a community that embodies belonging.

Oriented around core values of social justice, cultural responsiveness, and institutional unity and community, the Director works closely with students, staff, faculty, and administrators in service of the institution enacting its DEI-related goals:

-  Deliver culturally responsive education in all modalities across all levels of training with attention to diversity and improving the human condition

-  Recruit and retain students, faculty, staff, and administrators who represent a wide range of culturally diverse, marginalized, and underrepresented groups

-  Build sustainable institutional structures expert in diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education to substantially impact and monitor a commitment to diversity throughout the university

- Continually strive for PAU’s growth as a place of respect, inclusion, and acceptance, so that everyone is truly welcome and valued at PAU
