Notre Dame de Namur Students

Thank you for your interest in Palo Alto University. We understand what a challenging time this must be, and we are happy to assist in any way we can. We believe PAU may be a good fit for NDNU's business and social sciences students, and that we can provide continuity in the high-quality undergraduate education students have come to expect from NDNU. We have outlined below the items we believe will assist students should they choose to transition to PAU.

We have fully articulated the NDNU undergraduate catalog to PAU’s two undergraduate degree programs – the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Action, and the Bachelor of Science in Business Psychology.
NDNU students can transfer all earned non-remedial credits to Palo Alto University – our admissions team will provide individualized transfer plans for all applicants, which will outline how credits may be applied to PAU graduation requirements.

  • Waivers of our 84-quarter-unit requirement for entry may be provided on a case-by-case basis. Because PAU does not offer lower-division coursework, we would like to make sure PAU is a good financial choice for students with fewer than 84 transferrable units.
  • PAU can make offers of admission based on unofficial transcripts; final transcripts are required before the first day of classes.
  • There is no application fee for PAU’s undergraduate programs.
  • Waivers of our 45-quarter-unit residency requirement may also be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Financial Aid

  • We will work closely with your students to assure PAU is an affordable option.
  • PAU is willing to guarantee that we will work with any student transferring into our undergraduate program to assure that the cost to attend PAU is no greater than the cost to the student to attend NDNU.
