Financial Literacy Program

The Office of Financial Aid now has a financial literacy program called: Money Talks

Mission: Money Talks equips students with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions during their time at Palo Alto University and in their careers beyond graduation.

Helping Prepare You for Your Life

We want financial literacy to be about of your life. We want to focus our resources on providing support and education on financial understanding for all students. The more you know, the better prepared you are because Knowledge is Power.

 Money talks will provide students with budgeting techniques, different strategies on repaying student loans, saving and investing, importance on credit and credit scores.

We will have workshops and webinars on student loan exit counseling, The FAFSA, understanding loan repayment, and financial aid terminology just to name a few.

CashCourse is a free, online financial educational resource designed for college and university students offered by the National Endowment for Financial Education. This interactive money management tool provides answers and resources to help you make smart choices with your money. Check out an interactive budget tool, tips on saving money, and tips for making smart decisions about spending. For students all you will need to do is select the state (California) and our school (Palo Alto University) upon registering for an account. Your account will link to the schools account. Sign up for your free account today!
