Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary loan (ILL) Information for PAU Users

PAU faculty, staff, students, and alumni may request library materials from other universities using Tipasa, PAU’s interlibrary loan (ILL) system. Please note that ILL requests will not be processed on holidays or on other days when the library is closed, and that processing will resume when the library reopens. Click here for library hours

To place an ILL request

Go to the Tipasa Logon page at

You can also access Tipasa and place ILL requests through the PAU databases and the Worldcat online catalog by clicking on a “Request through interlibrary loan” link. Data from the corresponding citation will automatically fill the request form once you logon. You can enter request information manually if this feature fails or leaves out important citation data.

You must have a PAU email account ending in to use the Tipasa system. Your username (the part before the @ symbol) and password will be the same.

ILL Policies and instructions

Complete instructions and policies related to using ILL are on the ILL guide pages.
All Tipasa users are subject to PAU’s ILL policies, which are listed on the ILL guide pages. Please become familiar with these policies before submitting any requests, and refer to them if you have questions.
