PAU to Welcome German Students for Groundbreaking Summer Program

With summer right around the corner, the anticipation is building for what’s in store at Palo Alto University (PAU). The University’s upcoming, innovative program hosting students from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Mosbach, Germany, has only added to the excitement.

High on PAU’s agenda is its commitment to encouraging and developing global leadership, so the University is thrilled to announce this partnership with Mosbach. The summer program will partner with 22 students and two professors visiting California for two weeks of business learning and development.

The program will begin in early summer, with German students scheduled to arrive in San Francisco on Saturday, July 12.

Educational & Rewarding Experience

PAU is determined to see the German students take all they can out of their trip and has organized a packed program of educational, practical learning, and rewarding new experiences.

The program’s goal is to best prepare students for work in the global economy by expanding their understanding of relationship building and effective business practices. In alignment with PAU’s belief that students should be provided with exposure to some of the world’s most influential businesses and thought leaders, this will be of high priority to the German students’ experience.

Silicon Valley & Google

German students will experience two days of classroom-based activity and afterwards the students will travel to Silicon Valley for a taste of its globally recognized entrepreneurial culture.

Trips to Google headquarters and Stanford University will also highlight the program in addition to organized tours of San Francisco and Monterey.

Leading the Way in Global Education: How It’s Done

One of the most exciting aspects of the German student summer program is PAU’s involvement with local business experts who will lecture on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, and global organization management.

PAU is hopeful that this is only the beginning of a highly successful and collaborative relationship with Mosbach, Germany. The globalization of business is happening ever-more rapidly, and now more than ever, global instruction is needed to educate the effective managers and executives of the future.
