Interlibrary Loan Services
Information for PAU Users
PAU faculty, staff, students, and alumni may request library materials from other universities using ILLiad, PAU’s interlibrary loan (ILL) system.
Registering for an Account
Go to the ILLiad Logon page. You must have a PAU email account ending in @paloaltou.edu to use the ILLiad system. Your username (the part before the @ symbol) and password will be the same.
ILL Policies
All ILLiad users are subject to PAU’s ILL policies, which are listed on the ILL Policies page. Please become familiar with these policies before submitting any requests, and refer to them if you have questions.
Accessing Your Account
There are two ways to access ILLiad. You can go directly to the ILLiad Logon page and enter a request manually. You can also access ILLiad through the PAU databases by clicking on a “Request through interlibrary loan” link. Data from the corresponding citation will automatically fill the request form once you logon. You can enter request information manually if this feature fails or leaves out important citation data.
Please call our interlibrary loan staff at (650) 433-3808 or send an email to library@paloaltou.edu if you have questions or need assistance.
