Mental Health Counseling Master’s Degree Program

Do you have your bachelor’s degree?  Want to pursue advanced studies in psychology focusing on clinical practice, rather than preparing for a PhD?  Need a flexible program, close to home?

Palo Alto University offers training leading to mental health counseling at the master’s degree level – with no relocation necessary to complete your studies.

The mental health counseling master’s degree program prepares students for hands-on employment in the mental health counseling field.   Students focus on developing and strengthening skills in four core areas as part of the curriculum: assessment, intervention/psychotherapy, research and critical thinking, and ethics and professional practice.  It’s a program offering flexibility,  with students choosing to go full or part-time depending upon their schedules.
